Kevin Cuddy, a 51 year old Commack man, is accused of trying to lure two 12 year old girls and a 13 year old girl into his van as they walked down Wicks Road in Commack on April 15. Cuddy was arrested Saturday following a three week investigation. He allegedly told them to get into his white work van and tried to grab one of the girls, who all ran away and reported the incident to police. He was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and was arraigned yesterday. He was held on $7,500 cash bail or $15,000 bond at the jail in Riverhead. Police are asking anyone with information to call the Second Precinct crime section at 631-854-8226. They believe he may have tried to lure other girls in Commack.
