Carlos Hernandez-Morales, a 22 year old Gordon Heights man, was arraigned yesterday on charges of unlawful surveillance after he allegedly used his cell phone to take a photograph underneath the dress of a 15 year old girl out shopping with her mother inside J.C. Penney at the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove. A security guard told police he saw Hernandez-Morales take a photograph of the teen and held him until officers arrived. Hernandez-Morales was charged with unlawful surveillance in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child. He pleaded not guilty.
