Omar Recalde, a 34 year old ex-Navy sailor from Queens, was charged on April 1, 2004, with drugging and raping girls as young as 8 - and videotaping the attacks for his own kiddie porn library. He allegedly taped himself sodomizing an unconscious 8 year old Queens girl at a Christmas party and raping several teenage girls at a high school graduation party. He was arrested after his wife discovered his cache of 2,000 twisted porno videos, including attacks on both men and women, boys and girls. Recalde, already in prison for raping a 3 year old girl, was charged with attacking eight victims ranging in age from 8 to 18. He was ordered held without bail. He pleaded guilty in a military court to raping the toddler and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. He faces up to 15 years in prison on each of four counts of sexual exploitation of children and transportation of child pornography. He could face additional charges for sexual attacks depicted in the tapes, and investigators fear there may be more victims who have not yet come forward.
Recalde was sentenced to 25 more years on September 22, 2006, for sodomizing his 8 year old cousin at the Christmas party.
