Stuart Lovell Manley, a 63 year old man from McKinney, Texas, was sentenced today by US District Judge J. Owen Forrester on charges of using the internet to attempt to entice a child to engage in sexual activity, transporting child pornography, and distribution of child pornography. Manley was sentenced to 30 years in prison to be followed by 10 years of supervised release. Manley was convicted of these charges on January 23, 2006. The 12 year old "girl" was an undercover detective. Manley sent images of child pornography over the internet and admitted that he had molested his son over an extended period of time. some of the images sent were in fact of his young son engaged in sexual activity with Manley. When he traveled to Georgia, he brought a large collection of child pornography with him, including images of very young children engaging in sexual activity.
