Karen Lockhart, 18, of the Bronx, Larue Daniel, 28, of Brooklyn, and Jean Gedeon, 20, of Far Rockaway, are accused of the forcible abduction and the brutal physical and sexual assault of a 15 year old girl whom they tried to force into prostitution. Lockhart will be arraigned for allegedly befriending the runaway and taking her to a home in Far Rockaway where she was kept naked, sexually assaulted, and beaten over three days. The girl, who was kept at the house from May 29 to June 1, repeatedly refused to prostitute herself and managed to escape, flagging down a passing motorist, while clad in only a jacket. Lockhart faces life in prison if convicted. Her lawyer said his client had been forced by the Bloods gang to take part in the attack on the girl. Daniel and Gedeon are described as "wannabe Bloods."
