Lottie's Law, in memory of 72 year old Charlotte "Lottie" Scott, created a new death penalty - for murdering anyone over 70. In 1995 Lottie was beaten, run over by a vehicle and mutilated. Her breasts were cut off with a pocket knife and her body was buried under a pile of garbage tossed down a sink hole near Smyrna by Ricky Bryon. Lottie's murderer was sentenced to life in prison with parole possible after 25 years.
