Charles Zarate, a 25 year old magazine executive from Manhattan and Robert Crawford, a 42 year old chef from Rochester, believed they were chatting with a 13 year old girl in Suffolk County. In reality, it was a detective who works undercover in Suffolk's computer crimes unit, whom both men allegedly were hitting up for sex. They were both arrested last week and charged with attempted dissemination of indecent material to minors, a felony. Zarate used the screen name "ilumento" and Crawford used "Rochester_ny_man_4_love."
