Michael Agrapedes, a 46 year old East Meadow man, was arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead August 8 for allegedly transmitting sexually explicit material over the Internet to a minor. Agrapedes, of 2411 Aberdeen Street, started sending pornographic material to what he thought was a 14 year old girl and set up a meeting with her, but she was actually an undercover detective. He was arrested when he arrived for his rendezvous. He was charged with attempted criminal sexual act and disseminating indecent material to a minor. He was being held on $18,000 bond or $6,000 cash bail.
