NORTH CAROLINA MAN SENTENCED TO OVER 11 YEARS IN PRISON FOR USING A COMPUTER TO ENTICE A MINOR TO ENGAGE IN SEXUAL ACTIVITY
Ron Fouraker, a 55 year old man from Conover, North Carolina, was sentenced today by United States District Judge William F. Duffey to over 11 years in federal prison on charges of using a computer to attempt to entice a minor to engage in sexual activity. He traveled from North Carolina to Georgia to sexually abuse a young girl. He was sentenced to 11 years, 3 months in federal prison to be followed by a life of supervised release. Fouraker pleaded guilty to these charges on March 27, 2006. He had been communicating on-line with undercover FBI Agent working as part of the FBI's Safe Child Task Force.
