Case Details:
James William Bell, DOB 03/29/1954, white male, 5'07" tall, 155 lbs., brown hair, blue eyes, wears glasses. Previously resided in Washington and Oregon.
Bell was a gymnastics coach at the YMCA in Middletown, was indicted August 7, 2003 on seven counts of second degree child molestation. At the time of indictment the three female victims were between the ages of 11 to 14. Bell later posted bail and on July 30, 2004 he failed to appear for a pre-trial hearing.
In addition to the warrant issued by the Attorney General's office (complaint no. N2-2003-0454A) the FBI obtained a warrant for Bell on January 1, 2006 for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution (case no. BS-96043).
