3 IN PHILLY DEFROCKED
The Vatican defrocked three more Philadelphia priests, bringing the number to 17 since the child-abuse sex scandal broke four years ago. The priests were identified as Edward Avery, Stanley Gana and James McGuire. The statue of limitations prevented them from being criminally charged.
