Suffolk County Police Department Special Victims Section detectives will be out in forcefrom now through Halloween to interview and monitor registered sex offenders residing throughoutthe police district.  The department will coordinate efforts with New York State Parole,Suffolk County Probation, East End town and village police departments, including Southampton, EastHampton, Southold and Riverhead, the United States Marshal's NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force andUnited State Marshal's Sex Offender Investigation Brach-Eastern District of New York, to conductjoint surveillance and monitoring operations in the days leading up to and including Halloween.
