Derek Lawrence, a 49 year old aide to Nassau Legislator Carrie Solages (D-Elmont), if facingmisdemeanor charges of groping a female staffer in their Mineola office earlier this month. Lawrence, of Elmont, is charged with third degree sexual abuse and forcible touching, bothmisdemeanors.
