ARREST IN LURE ATTEMPT

Kevin Cuddy, a 51 year old Commack man, is accused of trying to lure two 12 year old girls and a13 year old girl into his van as they walked down Wicks Road in Commack on April 15. Cuddy wasarrested Saturday following a three week investigation. He allegedly told them to get into hiswhite work van and tried to grab one of the girls, who all ran away and reported the incident topolice. He was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and was arraigned yesterday. He washeld on $7,500 cash bail or $15,000 bond at the jail in Riverhead. Police are asking anyone withinformation to call the Second Precinct crime section at 631-854-8226. They believe he may havetried to lure other girls in Commack.
