ASHLAND MAN FACING FELONY CHARGES FOR ALLEGED SEX CRIMES INVOLVING CHILDREN

ASHLAND, Ohio — A 55-year-old Ashland resident has been indicted on multiple felony charges for allegedly committing sex crimes involving children.
According to Ashland County Court of Common Pleas records, Christopher A. Wolf has been charged with the following:
Two counts of endangering children, both second-degree felonies; attempted endangering children, a third-degree felony; two counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, both second-degree felonies; attempted pandering obscenity involving a minor, a third-degree felony; three counts of attempted importuning, all fourth-degree felonies.
The indictment, which was filed on Feb. 14, states that the alleged crimes happened between June 30, 2018, and Dec. 18, 2018.
Court records state the charges involve two 13-year-old boys and an 11-year-old boy.
Wolf was arraigned in court on Feb. 25 and pleaded not guilty to the charges, according to court records. He is currently being held in the Ashland County Jail in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
He has a pre-trial hearing scheduled for April 2.
