Parents For Megan's Law, the nation's largest Megan's Law Advocacy organization strongly supports the above referenced legislation. If written into law this bill would create a class A misdemeanor crime for knowingly simulating and disseminating to the public a notice under Megan's Law falsely suggesting a person is a sex offender.
