A man from Somerset County has been indicted in a May 2021 incident in which he allegedly took photos up the skirt of an underage girl at a Red Bank car dealership.

The incident happened around 1 p.m. on May 2, 2021. David M. Chapinski, 41, of Franklin, was arrested in August 2021 following a month’s long investigation.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office says the girl was at Auto Exotica on Newman Springs Road with her parents and two siblings looking at cars when Chapinski photographed her.

Federal prosecutors say embattled R&B star R. Kelly should spend at least 25 years in jail for sexually abusing women and girls.

The former Roland-Grise Middle School band teacher was convicted last month of 17 child sex abuse crimes he committed against his teenage students. On Tuesday, Superior Court Judge Douglas Sasser sentenced Frank to a minimum of 50 years and a maximum of over 62 years in prison.

A Belleville man has been accused of strangling and sexually assaulting a child in a Clifton home.

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office says that Andres Vasquez, 24, climbed into the window of the victim’s bedroom, confined the child in the room and then strangled and sexually assaulted them. The incident happened on May 31, according to authorities.

Vasquez was arrested on June 3. He faces multiple charges, including sexual assault, kidnapping and burglary. He is currently being held at the Passaic County Jail ahead of a court hearing.

A judge sentenced a Kenton County man to 20 years in prison in what the lead prosecutor described as a “horrific” case of child pornography.

Kenton Circuit Judge Kate Molloy sentenced Emmanuel Curry, 21, to 20 years in prison for possessing child pornography.

Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Emily Arnzen said the details of the case are horrific and involved children between 2 and 4 years old.

Curry pleaded guilty in April to 69 counts of possession of child pornography and 1 count of tampering with physical evidence without the benefit of a plea agreement.

ELKINS, W.Va. – West Virginia State Police have charged a woman in Randolph County with sexual abuse, following accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior involving a young child.

In October 2021, the young victim was interviewed by workers at the Randolph County Child Advocacy Center, where he described being abused by Tara Jo Martin, 34.

In May 2022, state troopers interviewed Martin, who admitted to inappropriately touching the boy, on two occasions, starting when the child was two years old, according to court documents.
