BURIED GIRL DESCRIBES ATTACKER

Milagro Cunningham, 17, has been charged with attempted murder, sexual battery on a child under 12, and false imprisonment of a victim under 13 years old for sexually assaulting and burying an 8 year old girl under rocks in a trash bin.  The girl was found alive with minor injuries on April 22 by an officer searching a landfill seven hours after being reported missing.  

The last thing she remembers before being entombed in the trash bin was looking into the eyes of her assailant.  She described her attacker to police, leading to the quick arrest of Cunningham, who was staying at her godmother's home.
