Muhammad Rafiq Daraghmeh, a 45 year old father of two who is a suspected collaborator with Israel, was publicly machine-gunned to death.  Palestinian militants hustled him into its main square before assembled townsfolk and asked him, Are you a collaborator with the Israeli intelligence? Daraghmeh said, Yes.  He was also asked if he had sexually molested his two daughters as reported by relatives who said they had disowned him, Daraghmeh answered, Yes.  A gunman turned to the crowd and said, What should his sentence be?  Execution! they roared.  Kill him,

Colonel Ahmed Atyah Abu Mustafa, 48, was arrested Wednesday after a 6 year old boy identified him as the man who had kidnapped and raped him five days earlier.  A firing squad executed him overnight just hours after he was convicted and sentenced to death.  He denied the charges.  Several Palestinian Authority officials and members of the legislative council as well as relatives of the raped child attended the execution.

Palestinian police said on Tuesday, they had handed over Hisham Najem, a Palestinian suspected by Israel of involvement in the rape and murder of a child in Nazareth, an Israeli town with a large Arab population, six months ago.  It was the first time a Palestinian was handed to Israel since self-rule began.  It was done in a joint cooperation to fight crime, said Palestinian Police Chief Ghazi al-Jabali.
