Richard Chip Williams, a 48 year old former NASCAR publicist, is charged with raping a 14 year old girl he met on the Internet when she was 11 and soliciting a minor for sex over the Internet. An international investigation into child pornography resulted in charges against Brian Tod Schellenberger, a 42 year old North Carolina man who authorities said physically and sexually abused a six year old girl and an infant boy to create images he posted on the Internet. Two North Carolina State University students have been arrested. They are accused of storing child pornography on a computer. Jon Richard Brock, 18, was charged with two counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and Timothy Joseph Gilrane, 22, is charged with first-degree sex offense. According to the Associated Press, police said Brock stored pictures on his hard drive showing a minor engaged in a sexual act and Gilrane allegedly made the pictures available on a Web site and was trading pictures.
Steven Scott Koehler, 40, will spend 7 years in prison for sending child pornography over the Internet. He was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to taking sexually explicit photographs of a young boy in his neighborhood and posting more than 20 photos on the Internet.
