An Alabama man, who argued that he was breaking into the pornography industry when he was indicted on five counts of rape and seven counts of sodomy years ago, was arrested on a new rape charge on Wednesday. The arrest came about a month after he was released on a $100,000 bond when his trial was once pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Police say a 74-year-old man is under arrest right now and accused of exposing himself to twoyoung girls in Wyandanch.

Police say Jeffery Bernstein, of North Babylon, repeatedly stalked the two girls on South 23rdStreet in Wyandanch.

According to police, their dad told police a man was driving by and staring at the girls betweenJuly 5 and July 9.

Police say Bernstein also exposed himself to the girls once and tried to lure them into hisvehicle with a bag of chips.

Bernstein is being arraigned today for stalking and public lewdness
