David Conlon, a 54 year old veteran city employee, was arrested yesterday for allegedly downloading more than 250 images of child pornography on his office computer. Conlon, the director of printing services for the Department of Citywide Administrative Services, admitted downloading x-rated pictures of young girls after he was caught by Internet-monitoring software. He was immediately suspended without pay from his $57,233-a-year job. Investigators recovered the images, which had been viewed and deleted. Conlon is charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child. He faces up to four years

Arcides Lopez, a 60 year old city housing worker, was nabbed for sexually abusing a 12 year old girl in a Harlem apartment complex.  Lopez allegedly grabbed and groped the girl in the St. Nicholas Houses at Frederick Douglass Boulevard.

Tony Sanchez, a 40-year-old registered sex offender, was assigned to work in the playground where he was charged with kidnapping a Manhattan couple’s 4 year old.  The couple filed a $75 million suit against the city yesterday.  Sanchez is accused of snatching the couple’s son, Stephen Johnson, from the Chelsea Park playground on October 23.  He took the boy to his Bronx apartment overnight and then abandoned him in a subway station.  He was later charged with kidnapping and endangering the welfare of a minor.  He had been charged with
