Three victims of a former middle school teacher serving a 74-year prison term for sexual abuse sued him and the Redlands Unified School District on Tuesday under a new state law that extends the statute of limitations for certain sex crimes.

A former Florida middle school assistant principal who molested at least one teenager — without revealing he was HIV-positive — has been sentenced to 35 years in federal prison.
Kyle Dale Ritsema, 36, was charged with producing, distributing and possessing child pornography for enticing a 14-year-old boy into unprotected sex five times, and is believed to have targeted other teens “and on several occasions sexually abused them,” federal prosecutors in Florida said.

Two Disney employees and a retired middle school assistant principal have been snared in a Florida sheriff’s child pornography sting.
Their arrests and the arrests of 14 other men were announced Friday by Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd as part of an undercover probe into child pornography conducted by detectives who work on computer crime cases.

Patrick Lott, Bernardsville Middle School assistant principal, has been arrested forallegedly recording boys showering at Immaculata High School in Somerset County, New Jersey wherehe was a volunteer.  Nine of the boys videotaped were under 16 years old, a total of 22victims have been notified.  Lott now faces charges including child endangerment.

Steven Mark Rubinstein, a disgraced high school administrator caught trying to seduce underagegirls in an Internet sting, was sentenced yesterday to 10 years in prison.
