A former Lakewood police officer was on duty when he gave a woman a ride home in his patrol car from a Denver bar and then allegedly sexually assaulted her in the back of the vehicle, authorities say.  Randall Shaun Bulter, 37, is charged with two counts of sexual assault for conduct committed while on duty, according to a news release by Maro Casparian, spokesperson for Denver District Attorney Beth McCann.   Butler

Michael Artis, a 47 year old former Suffolk auxiliary police officer, pleaded guilty in court yesterday to molesting two girls.  Artis, of Bellport, pleaded guilty to charges of using a child in a sexual performance and sodomy in the third degree.  In exchange for his plea, Suffolk County Court Judge Barbara Kahn is expected to sentence him to 5 to 15 years in prison on September 5.
