TECUMSEH, Oklahoma – A Tecumseh man charged with sex crimes involving a minor kept working as a local school bus driver during a 17-month delay in a court filing.

“I am not guilty,” Timothy Cansler, 60, told News 9 Monday night. Pottawatomie County District Attorney Allan Grubb’s office charged Cansler with two counts of child sexual abuse on Aug. 13, 2020.

The charges stem from an alleged 2016 incident and do not involve Cansler’s job as a bus driver for Tecumseh Public Schools.

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – A New Mexico school board member is accused of soliciting sex from a minor. Investigators say it happened in the Corona Schools where the 15-year-old is a student and the suspect, Justin Washburn, is a bus driver and school board member.

Kenneth Seibert, a 47 year old New York City bus driver, was arrested for allegedly possessing child pornography on his home computer.  Seibert, of Farmingdale, Long Island, allegedly e-mailed lewd videos of himself and kiddie porn to an undercover FBI agent posing as a woman seeking a sexual relationship involving herself and her young daughters.

Andrew Hamil, a 27 year old bus driver for the South Huntington school district who was arrested on district property on rape charges more than two months ago, was placed on administrative leave yesterday.  Hamil, of 70 Mulford Street, Huntington Station, was arrested at the district’s transportation facility in September and charged with first degree rape.  Free on $50,000 bond, Hamil continued to drive school buses because district officials did not know the seriousness of the crimes he was charged with.  A grand jury had indicted Hamil on first and

Joseph Locoteta, 20, and Salvadore Piccarillo, 19, from Bellmore, were arrested August 4 for allegedly plying a 15 year old girl with alcohol at a block party on July 25, then leading her to a basement apartment where they raped and sodomized her.  Both suspects have been charged with two counts of first degree criminal sexual act.  Piccarillo has also been charged with two counts of first degree rape.  Piccarillo, of 108 Chapman Avenue and Locoteta of 2273 Rose Place, were arraigned in First District court in Hempstead yesterday.  Locoteta
