News 12 Long Island

Rasheem Dupree, a 28 year old level one sex offender on parole, was arrested after beingcaught living in a home in Islip Terrace that is also the site of a day care center.  News 12Long Island teamed up with the sheriff’s department and Parents for Megan’s Law to stake out thehouse.  The sheriff’s department found Dupree in violation of his parole for driving a car andliving in a residence with children.  Parents who send their children to Safe Haven werenotified.  Parents for Megan’s Law representative Laura

William Huck, Sr., 60, was arrested March 25 on child sex charges and has since told authorities he molested 40 children in 30 years.  Huck is charged with 13 counts of first degree child molestation and four counts of statutory sodomy and is jailed on $1 million bond.  The charges pertain to the alleged abuse of a 4 year old boy and his 10 year old sister.  More charges are likely.  Huck’s wife ran an in-home day care center.

Carol Howell Clarke, a 45 year old day care worker, was arrested for sexually abusing a childyesterday after a Long Island couple showed cops nanny cam footage of her fondling their toddler.Clarke was arraigned on felony sex abuse charges. She is a licensed day care provider and wasworking at NaNa’s TLC day care center in Hempstead.
