Malcolm Brenner, a 65 year old retired city music teacher, was charged in 2003 with sexually abusing three of his young private piano students in Brooklyn. Brenner, of Queens, was accused of molesting two sisters, ages 10 and 12, and another 10 year old girl during hour-long piano lessons in their Sheepshead Bay homes. Carol Flannigan, a 49 year old music teacher, has been charged with having a sexual relationship with an 13 year old boy she first seduced when he was 11.  The stepmother of the boy asked Palm beach cops to investigate after finding sexually suggestive text messages on his cell phone Tuesday.  Flannigan was charged with sexual battery on a child under 12.

Albert Rauscher, an 85-year-old Babylon violin teacher who gives private lessons to a number of students at his home, has been accused of sexually abusing one of his students.  According to Newsday, a girl, described by police only as being under 11 years old, was inappropriately touched by him during a lesson.  He was arraigned on one count of first-degree sexual abuse and was being held at the Suffolk County Jail on $5,000 bail.  Police learned of the incident from the girl’s parents.  There investigation is continuing and anyone with
