SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A Greene County jury convicted a Springfield man Thursday for sex crimes involving a five-year-old girl.
Stephen Perry, 61, was found guilty of one count of first-degree. statutory sodomy. The charge dates back to March 29, 2018, alleging that he inappropriately touched a five-year old girl who lived nearby, according to a news release from the Greene County prosecuting attorney.
Perry has also been accused of similar conduct in 2008 for a different neighbor who was six years old at the time, per the prosecuting attorney.

A 52-year-old Laurel man is denying allegations that he raped a child multiple times more than a decade ago.
Michael Gilbert Voyles pleaded not guilty on Thursday in Yellowstone County District Court to three counts of sexual intercourse without consent. Bail is set at $150,000.
The case stems from a disclosure made by the alleged victim, now an adult, in August. Prosecutors say that in his statement to a detective, he noted he had recently seen a picture on Facebook of Voyles with a group of children.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — A man who has worked for at least two metro-area school districts is charged with sexually abusing at least two children in cases that date back several decades.

Prosecutors say 65-year-old Kevin Edward Belker of Bloomington sexually assaulted two boys under the age of 13, in incidents that took place between the spring of 1977 and winter of 1980.

Ten-year-old Zachary Snider was smothered with a pillow, strangled, brutally raped and murdered by someone in his neighborhood.
