Police in Australia have rescued 46 children and arrested 14 men, following an investigation into an international child abuse network that has also led to arrests in the U.S.
The victims, aged between 16 months and 15 years old, were subjected to sexual abuse and exploitation and were saved after a year-long investigation following a tip-off from U.S. investigators who were looking into an Australian internet user. Police say 16 of the children were rescued from a childcare center.
The 14 men arrested face a total of 828

SCPD 5/9/15 Bitinkunar Patel, a 35 year old store clerk, was arrested for offering children to exposethemselves for money in Huntington.  Two boys and two girls between the ages of 11 and 14years old walked into the Jericho Convenience store when they were confronted by Patel atapproximately 7:20 pm.  Patel, of 23 Linwood Avenue, Huntington, asked the kids if theywere wearing underwear.  When the children answered, he offered them money if they showed himtheir underwear and private parts.  Patel is charged with four counts of Endangering theWelfare of a Child.
