A private tutor in Peoria was arrested on Thursday after police say he was found with hundreds of sexually explicit images and videos of children.

Carl Nathaniel Adam Fredricksen, 34, was arrested at a hotel near 75th Avenue and Bell Road on suspicion of child molestation, sexual exploitation of a minor, sexual conduct with a minor and furnishing harmful items to minors.

On July 2, a parent contacted police after learning Fredricksen showed a child inappropriate videos involving children and asked if the child wanted to partake, according to police spokesperson

Toronto police say a man who has spent years working as both a tutor and a pastor is facing sex charges involving a young girl.
Police allege the man sexually assaulted the girl while he was tutoring her on numerous occasions between 2015 and 2017.
Ki-Jin Kim, 61, was arrested on Nov. 28. He has been charged with one count of sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.

Philip Fasso, a 34 year old Lawrence High School teacher, was arrested yesterday afternoon on charges that he fondled a 16 year old girl just after he finished tutoring her after school.  Fasso, of 996 White Birch Lane in Wantagh, was charged with fondling the girl beneath her clothes as she stood to leave the tutoring session on March 29.  A school security guard saw the incident and observed the victim struggling to get away and brought her and Fasso to school administrators.  Fasso is charged with third degree sexual

Dubner Saintilus, a 37 year old Hempstead High School math teacher, was arrested for fondling a 16 year old female student while on school premises.  Saintilus, of 40 Foxwood Drive, Huntington Station, faces a charge of third degree sexual abuse.  He was also suspended from the Suffolk Auxiliary Police.

Horace Bedeau, a 50 year old Brooklyn middle school math teacher, was arrested yesterday on sex charges for allegedly raping a 14 year old girl he was tutoring in the apartment he shared with his wife and son.
