SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. (AP) — A 37-year-old Athol man was arrested by the U.S. Marshalls Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force on Friday night and charged with multiple sex crimes against minors.
The Coeur d’Alene Press reports Kenneth Bernard Kimberly III was arrested at the Clock Tower Village Apartments in Spokane Valley on two outstanding felony warrants issued by the State of Idaho, the U.S. Marshals Service reported.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Strick Strickland faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted on 11 felony counts, which include criminal sexual conduct and human trafficking.
Strickland is scheduled to appear Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020, in 8th District Court in front of Judge Tiffany Ankley.
Authorities accuse Strickland and his wife of using their positions within the church and Kalamazoo Public Schools to coerce four teen boys into sex.
Prosecutors said Strickland used his position of power to find the boys.
Strickland first appeared in front of a judge in September.

Child protection organisations in Kenya say more needs to be done to protect young people from exploitation by overseas perpetrators, as the country reports a rising number of abuse cases.

The warning follows the arrest of Gregory Dow, a 61-year-old missionary, who last month pleaded guilty in a US court to sexually abusing girls at an orphanage he ran in Kenya.

It also comes after Kenyan authorities charged a 71-year-old German national in May on counts of trafficking, defilement, indecent acts and child pornography.

(CNN)An Oregon woman whose husband is in prison for sexually abusing a child is suing the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for reporting his confession to state authorities.
In the lawsuit, Kristine Johnson said her husband confessed his sexual abuse to clergy as required by church rules. That confession was passed along to state authorities, forming the basis of their investigation, she says.
