CATSKILLS KID-SEX CHARGES

PFMLIT General, HANDYMAN, SEX OFFENDERS AND OTHERS IN POSITIONS OF TRUST

George Galewaler, a 50 year old former handyman at Makowsky's Cottage Colony in High Falls, a Catskills resort popular with downstaters, has been charged with sexually assaulting children at his home.  He was charged with a range of sex crimes and additional charges are pending.  He is being held at the Ulster County Jail without bail.  He is accused of molesting at least five victims under age 13 over several years.  Police are asking that anyone with additional information about the case contact them at (845) 338-1702.
