CHARGED WITH RAPING GIRL, 14

Charles (Maurice) Green, a 35 year old talent scout for a hip-hop modeling agency, was arrested November 18, 2004, for raping a 14 year old girl in his fly-by-night Manhattan office as her parents waited in another room.  Green allegedly promised the teen he could help her singing and modeling career through his two companies - Hip Hop Models Inc. and Urban Talent Network.  The alleged assault took place on September 29.  The victim's parents apparently did not know about the alleged rape until this week.  According to court papers filed yesterday, he incriminated himself in telephone calls with the girl that were recorded by police.  Green, who was arrested on forgery and fraud charges in 2001, surrendered to NYPD special victims squad detectives November 18.  He was charged with rape, endangering the welfare of a child and other sex crimes.

Green pleaded not guilty yesterday to luring the girl into a sex tryst.  He remains free on $20,000 bail after entering his plea.
