CHILD PORN CHARGES FOR EX-SUBSTITUTE TEACHER

Thomas Baudier, a 22 year old substitute teacher at Northport High School, wasunder investigation for allegedly engaging in sexual contact with a 16 year old femalestudent.  Baudier, of Northport, met the student in a class when he became a permanentsubstitute in January.  He was charged with sexual abuse in the third degree and endangeringthe welfare of a child.  Bail was set at $5,000 cash or $25,000 bond.
Baudier was arrested again in May after new allegations.  He was charged with attemptedsexual abuse, a violation, and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, fora case involving a 14 year old girl.
Baudier was acquitted on October 2, 2007.  He was found not guilty of sexual abuse,attempted sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child after a 10 day trial.  Thegirls, their friends, a school social worker and police detective testified at the trial. 
Baudier, now 24, has been arrested on charges of possessing child pornography. Baudier, of 26 Valley Road, Northport, was arrested Monday night and charged with two counts ofpossessing a sexual performance of a child, a felony; and once count each of obstructinggovernmental administration and resisting arrest.  Suffolk computer crimes detectivesdetermined that he had downloaded porn.
