CHURCH YOUTH GROUP LEADER ARRESTED FOR RAPE

Juan Carlos Amaya, a 30 year old leader at the Iglesia Evangelica Refugio De Salvacionchurch located at 102 Railroad Avenue in Patchogue, was arrested for raping a 12 year old femalemember of the group. The girl was taken to Amaya's home on Davidson Avenue in Bellport in May2010 and forced to have sex with him. Amaya is charged with two counts of Rape 1st Degree.
