COPS: STORE OWNER SEXUALLY ABUSED EMPLOYEE

Alfred Balcerak, a 54 year old Level 3 registered sex offender and the owner of Dun RiteUpholstery, 6316 Northern Boulevard, East Norwich, was arrested Tuesday and charged with sexualabuse of a male employee.  Balcerak was in the store’s Syosset warehouse on May 21 whenhe pulled an employee’s pants down and grabbed the employee’s genitals.  Theemployee, a man in his 20s, immediately left the warehouse without further incident.  ANewsday article said Balcerak was convicted of sexual abuse of a 9 year old girl and a 14 year oldboy in 1998, and was sentenced to 5 years probation.
