COPS: SUBSTITUTE TEACHER HAD SEX WITH STUDENT

Allan Concepcion, a 38 year old substitute teacher, who also coaches girls’ sports,was charged with rape Tuesday after a sexual encounter with a 16 year old from a Manorvilleschool earlier this year. Concepcion, of 19 Salisbury Run, Mount Sinai, worked atEastport-South Manor Junior-Senior High School as a substitute and volleyball coach. He alsocoaches the Long Island Fury, a girls’ volleyball club, and girls gymnastics at Hampton BaysMiddle School. He was arraigned on third degree rape, a felony charge, and endangering thewelfare of a child. The student is under the age of consent, which is 17.
