DNA MATCHES HELP POLICE ARREST MAN IN SEX ATTACKS
Rodolfo Beach, 31, of Rosedale was charged late Friday in three attacks in Queens after his DNA was recovered from a knife he was stabbed with in November and linked him to two of the crimes. Beach was arraigned on charges of rape, attempted rape, sodomy and robbery. A 12-year-old girl awoke early one morning to see Beach by her bed, opening his pants. When the girl's uncle heard her screams, he responded and stabbed Beach in the torso with a knife. The DNA samples were collected from blood on the knife.
