Michael Ripp, a 62 year old East Setauket man, was arrested when he showed up at aprearranged location believing he was going to meet a 13 year old girl for sex.  He was heldwithout bail in an Albany jail after being arraigned on attempted dissemination of indecentmaterial to a minor and attempted endangering the welfare of a child.  Investigators ask anyminors who have been approached by Ripp to call state police at 631-727-2727.
