LeRoy Marion Garcia, a 58 year old former Tri-Valley girls soccer coach, pleaded guilty infederal court in Oakland yesterday to one count of possessing child pornography images taken fromthe Internet.  As part of a plea agreement, the charge of receiving child pornography is beingdropped.  He also faces six felony counts of indecent exposure in state court for allegedlyexposing himself to schoolgirls in Livermore and Dublin earlier this year.  Garcia, the ownerof a Pleasanton plumbing store, is a registered sex offender who had most recently worked as avolunteer assistant coach at California High School in San Ramon.  He also coached in thePleasanton Unified School District, at Dublin High School and for the California Youth SoccerAssociation.  He faces up to five years in prison when he is sentenced.
