Tim McDarrah, a 44 year old Us Weekly editor and former New York Post reporter, was charged onSeptember 15, 2005, with trying to pick up a 13 year old girl on the Internet for sex. He offeredto pay $200 for sex with a YOUNG hottie, and was nabbed when he showed up at a Manhattan buildingwhere he thought the girl lived. He was charged with using a computer to persuade a minor to engagein sex. An undercover federal agent pretended to be the girl.

McDarrah was convicted on December 20, 2006.
