Laura Sclater, a 30 year old Barrie teacher, appeared in court yesterday on sex-related charges.  The teacher known for writing sex notes to a 13 year old  student was ordered to appear again November 30 on charges of sexual interference, sexual assault and invitation to sexual touching.  The charges were laid earlier this month after South Simcoe police conducted an investigation based on new information from a 1998 incident.  Two years ago, she wrote 64 innuendo-laced letters to a Grade 8 boy at Goodfellow Public School in Alcona Beach.  In the notes, she called the student a big stud...hottie and wrote about sibling swapping, signing them, Love, your woman.
