FLORIDA CHILD MOLESTER SENTENCED ON FEDERAL CHARGES IN GEORGIA

Mark A. Grossman, a 45 year old man from Bradenton, Florida, was sentenced today by US District Judge Beverly B. Martin on charges of using the internet to attempt to entice a child to engage in sexual activity and crossing state lines with the intent to engage in a sexual act with a person under the age of 12.  Grossman thought the he was talking to a nine year old girl when in fact, the girl was an undercover detective.  He was sentenced to 20 years in prison to be followed by supervised release for the remainder of his life.  Grossman was convicted of these charges by a jury on June 15, 2006.
