A mother from Foley was arrested Wednesday accused of sexually abusing a 4-year-old child and taking pictures of the offense, among other related charges.
Krystal Sanspree, 30, was charged with four counts of producing child pornography, four counts of disseminating child pornography, one count of sodomy, and one count of the sexual abuse of a child under 12, according to Baldwin County Jail records.
Also charged with similar offenses was Corey Ashton Steele, 32, who asked Sanspree for the images of the child being abused. He is charged with four counts of possession of child pornography, four counts of solicitation of child pornography, one count of criminal solicitation, and one count of soliciting sodomy, according to jail records.
The Baldwin County Department of Human Resources received a tip about the alleged abuses and investigated the pair along with other agencies and law enforcement. Both are currently being held in the Baldwin County jail.
