FORMER TEACHER ARRESTED

Rodney A. Jackson, Jr., a 29 year old former private school teacher and youthpastor, was arraigned last week in First District Court in Central Islip on charges related to analleged sexual relationship he had with a 16 year old female student at Our Savior New AmericanSchool in Centereach in April 2006. Jackson, of Holbrook Street in Patchogue , pleaded notguilty to one charge of third degree criminal sexual act and one count of endangering the welfareof a minor. Bail and bond were set at $150,000.
