FOSTER KID SUES OVER SEX ABUSE

A girl and her mother are suing a Brooklyn foster-care agency and the child's former caretakers for $40 million, charging the girl was sexually abused.  The girl, now a teenager, was in the foster parents' care from 1996 to 2000.  The girl and her mom say the child was molested while in the care of the foster parents, who were provided by the not-for-profit group Little Flower Children's Services.  The suit charges that the agency and foster parents knew or should have known she was being sexually assaulted by her foster father and did nothing.
