GIRL ESCAPES TWO PURSUERS

A 12 year old Massapequa girl had been dropped off by a school bus on Forest Avenue around 3:15 p.m. Friday and was near her home when police said two men, one wearing a ski mask, appeared behind her.  She fled the men and barricaded herself in a backyard shed to escape.  They chased her into the shed and she locked it behind her.  The men banged on the door demanding to be let in and she threatened to call the police.  Both men fled the scene before police arrived.  One of the men wore a blue ski mask and white long-sleeve shirt.  Police were looking for the men yesterday and ask that anyone with information about the incident call 800-244-TIPS.  All calls are anonymous.
