It seems that every day stories of sexual harassment or sexual assault are being told by victims who were abused by people in positions of great power. Through their courage, survivors of sexual abuse are paving the path for others to come forward to break their silence, seek justice, and begin the healing process.

This is the work the Crime Victims Center (CVC) has been doing every day since 1999. We empower victims to tell their stories, provide advocacy and counseling to support their healing process, and fight for legislation to enhance crime victim’s rights. We also provide over 15 different curriculum based sexual assault prevention education programs to over 155,000 children and adults. CVC staff also work with law enforcement to ensure that sex offenders register properly and we staff the National Megan’s Law Helpline to help parents keep their children safe.

If you want to make a real difference for victims of sexual assault, this Giving Tuesday, please donate. Your donation will not only send a message that you support all victims in solidarity, but that you want to act to help them get the support and advocacy they need.
