On December 16 1998 Henry Gonzalez was employed as a specialneeds bus driver. Gonzalez picked up a 13-year-old
student from her home in Saugus to transport her to school. Hethen drove the young girl, in the school bus to a
relative’s home in Lynn where he repeatedly raped her.Gonzalez then dropped the victim off at the Square One Mall in
Saugus. Gonzalez was later arrested and subsequentlybailed.
On June 19, 2000 Gonzalez defaulted on his court appearanceand warrants for his arrest were issued by Essex Superior
Court to the Saugus Police Department docket number9977CR000059.
