HALLOWEEN WATCH ON SEX OFFENDERS

Westchester probation officials will be tracking a certain class of monsters on Halloween night: registered sex offenders.  About 45 registered Level 2 and 3 sex offenders who live in the county will receive special invitations to attend and educational program between 6 and 10 p.m. on Monday.  Those who don't show up for the program at the probation offices in White Plains will get a visit from teams of police and probation officers.  Registered sex offenders attending the program at county probation offices will participate in a workshop with an alcohol substance abuse counselor and watch two videos on victim empathy.
